Luke 12:18-19 (NLT)
18 [Jesus said] So he [the rich farmer] said, `I know! I’ll tear down my barns and build bigger ones. Then I’ll have room enough to store everything. 19 And I’ll sit back and say to myself, My friend, you have enough stored away for years to come. Now take it easy! Eat, drink, and be merry!’

DRAWING NOTES:

TIME OF DAY:
Not specified in the Bible, I have set the scene in the mid morning.

LIGHTING NOTES:
The Sun, high in the sky (on the left) illuminates this scene, casting shadows to the right of people and objects.

CHARACTERS PRESENT:
The rich man from the previous scene, admiring his new, larger barns.

RESEARCH/ADDITIONAL NOTES:
The rich man is standing next to a table, loaded down with a joint of meet, fruit, wine, etc. The table, chair and food represents the rich man’s idea expressed in verse 19, ‘My friend, you have enough stored away for years to come. Now take it easy! Eat, drink, and be merry!’
