Plague of boils

I’ve just finished my latest cartoon, based on the Plague of boils from Exodus 09. Not a very nice subject to depict, but the finished drawing came out well & the colours seem to work. I was particularly pleased with the fan-waving slave girl on the left of the picture. Her stance & down-turned face seem to illustrate the suffering of this particular plague very well.
I’ve displayed the early greyscale cartoon here, in which I worked out the lighting, for you to compare to the finished scene:
