New Year scriptures & goals

Welcome one & all to 2011 AD!
Let’s hope this new year brings great things to us all.

Scriptures for the New Year…
“For nothing is impossible with God.”
Luke 1:37 (ANIV)

He (Jesus) replied, “… I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
Matthew 17:20 (ANIV)

The Lord said, “If as one people speaking the same language they have begun to do this (building the tower of Babel), then nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them.”
Genesis 11:6 (ANIV)

I noticed these scriptures yesterday (03/01/2011) & they seem to fit in with my current hopes, thoughts & aspirations for 2011. I will attempt the impossible this year. For me that means mustering hope when I feel hopeless, applying courage when I am afraid, taking a step of blind faith when I can not see the way forward, & trusting God when there seems no logical reason to do so. This is all about taking Jesus’ point & deliberately choosing to believe that “nothing is impossible with God.” That’s my goal for 2011.
