Jesus drawn with a scowl… that can’t be right, surely!

Unfortunately, I did indeed draw Jesus with a scowling expression, in my original “Matthew 26 – The Lord’s Supper – Scene 05 – Bread” Bible Cartoon. I don’t know why I left it like that either! As I am adding the other scenes around this picture, I think it’s time I amended that expression!

Jesus probably did frown at times, but that look isn’t really suitable in this scene, as he is breaking bread with his disciples during the Passover celebration. I imagine he was rather sad, as he knew what he would be facing in only a few hours time (flogging, crucifixion, death, resurrection), but at the time he is giving the bread out I doubt he would have been scowling.

I am glad I have changed his expression now.
