Here’s the correct answer to my COMPETITION QUESTION: What percentage of the Bible do you think I have managed to draw, in the 10 years I have been doing this ministry?
There are 31,095 verses [1] in the Bible, of which I have drawn Bible Cartoons for 2188 of them, which is 7.03%.
And the winner is… Kate Milosevic, who lives in Serbia, congratulations on a brilliant guess of 8.6% – well done!
Now she can claim her prize of 5 free high quality Bible Cartoons of her choice.
Incidentally, Kate runs “Jesus without Language” where she “shares quality Kids Ministry & Children’s Sunday School resources; Providing both full lessons for churches & extra’s to supplement existing material.”

By the way, 7.03% of the verses in the Bible doesn’t sound very much, but it represents a lot of effort, I can assure you – can’t wait to get to 10% though!
The percentage sounds better if we count chapters, rather than verses… There are 1189 chapters in the Bible, of which I have drawn Bible Cartoons for 222 of those chapters. That equates to me having drawn Bible Cartoons that cover 18.67% of all the chapters in the Bible… a much healthier looking figure!

That figure of 31,095 verses in the Bible is according to my calculations in an Excel spreadsheet I keep. The figure may be at odds with other sources on the internet, which quote other figures (31,102 (KJV), 31,173, etc, it rather depends upon the Bible translation you refer too.
