Exodus 17 - Moses striking a rock

Here’s my latest cartoon illustration, which is taken from the book of Exodus, chapter 17. The story is early on in the Exodus from Egypt. The Hebrew people had been grumbling about not having food & water.

This version of the scene is as it appears before I added any special lighting effects, such as the strong yellow sunlight.

This version has a layer of red/brown across the whole scene, which creates a monochrome effect.

This is the final version of this scene, with the strong sunlight, but without the monochrome layer in place, so that you can still see all the strong clothing colours & tonal variations.
